Home to both Progressive Field and Quicken Loans Arena, the district is active year-round with baseball (Cleveland Indians), basketball (Cleveland Cavaliers), hockey (Lake Erie Monsters), football (Cleveland Gladiators) and entertainment ranging from national concert acts to ice skating performances. A host of pubs offer a bite to eat and frosty drink before or after the big game.

The highlight of Cleveland's theater district is PlayhouseSquare, the second largest performing arts center in the country, which draws well over one million visitors annually. The five beautifully restored theatres are home to the opera, ballet, concerts and an impressive Broadway Series and Great Lakes Theatre Festival.

North Coast Harbor District

North Coast Harbor is the site of the I.M. Pei-designed Rock and Roll Hall of Fame & Museum, Great Lakes Science Center and Cleveland Browns Stadium. Other points of interest include the Steamship William G. Mather, the U.S.S. Cod World War II submarine, the Goodtime III sightseeing boat and the International Women's Air & Space Museum.


Terminal Tower Cleveland Ohio

Tower City District

A renovated train terminal, the ornate Tower City Center houses an indoor retail area with shops and an array of restaurants. It also includes a cinema and two distinguished hotels, the Ritz-Carlton Cleveland and the Cleveland Renaissance Hotel. The lower level of Tower City Center houses the Regional Transit Authority's (RTA's) light rail system. 

Time Warner Cable Amphitheater at Tower City sits behind the historic 52-story Terminal Tower.


The Flats

On the banks of the Cuyahoga River, The Flats is home to restaurants, concert venues, nightclubs and the Nautica Queen cruise ship. The Nautica Entertainment Complex features Rock Bottom Brewery, Cyrus Waterfront Patio & Lounge, Improv Comedy Club and the 5,000-seat, outdoor Plain Dealer Pavilion. Redevelopment on the East Bank of The Flats has begun.
