Application for Volunteer Services

If you know and love Cleveland, the perfect volunteer opportunity awaits you with the CLE+ Visitors Center located in The Historic Higbee Building downtown on Public Square.  This is a chance for you to share your knowledge and passion for Cleveland's sites, history and culture, while also learning more through ongoing training opportunities, and educational site tours covering area attractions, hotels, restaurants and events. 

All volunteer candidates must submit a completed application, complete the interview process and successfully complete the Positively Cleveland Volunteer Training.

Visitor Services Positions
Positions are available 5 days a week (6 days from Memorial Day to Labor Day).  Most Volunteer Ambassadors work four or five hour shifts during regular operating hours.  Special Events/Festival Ambassadors may have evening and/or weekend hours.  Volunteer Ambassadors are encouraged to explore more than one position.

Volunteer Concierge Ambassador – Greet visitors and proactively provide assistance with directions, itinerary planning, restaurant recommendations/ reservations and other concierge services.  General knowledge of city and attractions required; strong customer/people skills are a must.

Clerical/Administrative Volunteer Ambassador – Responsible for data entry and maintaining the events calendar on the Positively Cleveland website. Computer knowledge required; specific software program training available.
